THE FILM: The new documentary HUNGRY FOR CHANGE from nutritional consultants James Colquhoun and Laurentine ten Bosch (who made the 2009 film FOODMATTERS) opens with the statistic that currently one third of all American women and one quarter of all American men are dieting. Obesity and poor nutrition have become a major problem in the U.S. that affects a huge portion of the population on a daily basis. “Fat Free” foods, diet plans and weight loss programs are major businesses bringing in billions of dollars each year but are they really the solution to the problem? Or worse yet, are they contributing to the problem?
